1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website (pacificpoolz.co.za), submitting quote estimation forms, or engaging Pacific Pools ("we", "us", "our") for pool maintenance, green pool recovery, hardware repairs, or pool cover installations in Pretoria East and surrounding areas, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. On-Site Assessment & Call-Out Policy

To maintain high-quality, reliable service across Pretoria East (including Mooikloof, Silverlakes, Moreleta Park, The Hills, Garsfontein, Faerie Glen, Olympus, and Midstream Estate), we charge a standard call-out fee for on-site assessments.

• Inclusions: The call-out charge covers travel time and up to 1 hour of professional labor/diagnosis.
• Deduction Guarantee: The full call-out charge is credited and fully deducted from your first invoice upon quote approval and execution of service.

3. Services & Maintenance Plans

Pacific Pools provides owner-managed swimming pool care, including weekly maintenance, chemical balancing, pump and filter repairs, green-to-blue recoveries, and cover installations.

• Variability: Maintenance plan frequencies, chemical dosages, and pricing may vary depending on individual pool size, condition, filtration equipment health, and surrounding vegetation.
• Chemical Standards: We exclusively use commercial-grade chemicals and trusted South African brands (e.g. Speck Pumps, Quality, Kreepy Krauly). Retail chemical substitutions by property owners during active service agreements are discouraged as they affect water chemical balance.
• Client Responsibilities: Clients must ensure adequate water levels, unhindered access to the pool area, electrical power availability for pumps, and pet containment during scheduled service visits.

4. Quotes & Payment Terms

• Quotes issued by Pacific Pools are valid for 14 calendar days from date of issuance.
• Payment terms for once-off repairs, cover installations, and green-to-blue recoveries are set out on the respective quotation or invoice.
• Monthly maintenance subscriptions are billed in advance or on agreed payment dates. Late payments may result in temporary suspension of scheduled service.

5. Limitations of Liability

While Michael Da Silva and the Pacific Pools team exercise extreme professional care, we shall not be liable for pre-existing structural defects, pre-existing underground pipe leaks, extreme weather events (e.g. severe Highveld hail or flash flooding), municipal water supply interruptions, or damage caused by unauthorized third-party tampering with equipment settings.

6. POPIA & Personal Data Protection

Your personal details collected during service inquiry and form submission are handled in full compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) as detailed in our Privacy Policy. Data is strictly used for communication, service fulfillment, and internal notification purposes.
